BB Book Tours

Expected Fall 2012

After defeating the Malborn and losing the person she loved most, Lianne escapes to Chase’s homeland. With her appearance forever marked by death, Lianne feels like a monster both on the outside and the inside. She retreats into herself, fearful of what she’s become. But she can’t hide forever.
The Malborn, damaged but not broken, send a deadly message to Lianne. They are coming for her and now she’s brought danger to a peaceful land that believed they’d driven the Malborn from their shores forever. Lianne must force herself to trust again and make the ultimate sacrifice to save everyone she loves. In a world ruled by whoever harnesses the most powerful magic, no one can be trusted – no one is safe.

Lori’s Review:

This is the final book in the Swarm Trilogy. I definitely enjoyed the first two books but this installment was by far my favorite of the three. The depth of the characters and storyline was really touching. I felt instantly more connected to them throughout this book. Actually I was flying through it so fast that I was surprised to see myself at 100%.
I have to admit I was and am a total Chase fangirl. I loved him from the moment he stepped on the page. Don’t get me wrong I like Bryden but he didn’t feel like a full fit with Lianne.
The world building is really beautiful and is definitely Jensen’s strongest writing. Her characters have grown and matured throughout the series. I think Lianne is great. If I have one big complaint it would be the total lack action within this installment. There were plenty of tense moments but it never actually came to a head. I can see the plus of having a peaceful out come without the war being waged. Don’t take that to mean there are no deaths in this book. There are still plenty.
I enjoyed this series so much I am going to go back and read the other three books that make up the whole of this series.
Thank you Ms. Jensen for providing me review copies of the book. They rocked and I had a blast reading them.
