So I'm supposed to talk about my hobbies outside of books and blogging.... To be honest, I don't do anything that people would consider "hobbies". So I thought I would make a top ten list of things I like to do with my "spare time" (wtf is that?)
10.) Visit cemeteries. Really. I like them.
9.) Watch horrible reality TV like Duck Dynasty, Call of the Wild man and the Amish Mafia. I also scream at the TV when my mom watches Finding Bigfoot. Those people give scientists a bad name. The purpose of science is NOT to prove something right, but to DISPROVE it.
8.) Listen to 80's music.
7.) Dream of becoming a famous Mexican banda and nortena singer. Sing songs about, and work for, the mafia and go down in a blaze of glory. Of course, having a child has tampered this dream. But I still spend a lot of time thinking about it.
6.) Sleeping. <-- that, my friends, is a real hobby.
5.) Search the Internet for the grossest things ever. I usually use words like skin, disease, warts.....
4.)Make Apocalypse plans. I think I may have to become some sort of pimp/drug/ arms dealer to ensure survival.
3.) Brush up on current events in the Native American community.
2.)Play with my daughter and nephew. I recently taught them ring around the poesy. I then told the older kids it was a song about the black death and did google searches of the plague to gross them out.
1.) Make Tacos.
Ok so I was going to talk you through some Taco recipes but yeah I suck at writing recipes so instead I'll just post pictures.
Taco pizza from Casey's. I made this one. |
Mexican toppings...kinda I got lazy and didn't make my own pico. Plus there are no limes. |
American toppings. |
American tacos-ground beef and traditional toppings like sour cream, lettuce, cheese and tomatos. |
Mexican tacos-the american way. Pork cut into strip and pan fried. Most mexicans don't put cheddar cheese or sour cream on their tacos. They do use pico de gaello and limes. |
Are we twins separated at birth? roflmao - I could have written this post. Definitely need the Corona with the taco.... and if you don't I highly recommend "Doomsday Preppers" for your TV viewing.
ReplyDeleteThe Coronita bottles are salt and pepper shakers that I stole from Diamond Daves when I was in college. LMFAO. I do not watch Doomsday Preppers. I might have to check it out!
Deletelmao - loving the list. Slight disturbed but loving it!
ReplyDeleteHilarious! I've never had a pork taco.
