Revelations of the Soul Blog Tour. Hosted by Parajunkee Tours!
Blurb:
“Evangeline had prayed Spiro would be able to protect Vivienne, prayed that he’d keep her safe. The truth was, no one would be able to protect her from what was coming, and Evangeline knew that now. She knew that Vivienne was going to have to fight if she wanted to survive.”
Aedan, Lord of the Daemonium, has claimed Vivienne Drake as his prize and will stop at nothing to keep her. As his captive, Vivienne is forced to spend her days interacting with the monster that’s haunted her dreams for the past fourteen years.
Truths of her mother’s past continue to surface, bringing to light the reality of who Vivienne Drake truly is. All the while, Vivienne can do nothing but watch as the façade of the carefully constructed life her mother fashioned crumbles around her; leaving devastation in its wake.
Will secrets and lies be her ruination, or can Vivienne overcome her pain in order to become the salvation The Guild and Humanity needs?

LP: When did you decide to become a writer?
JLV: About a year ago. For as long as I can remember, as a way to combat insomnia, I'd create stories in my head. I'm not talking simple "where will I be in five years" stories. Nah, these were epic tales that would continue night after night--my own bedtime stories so to speak. I finally decided that maybe it was time to share these stories.
LP: What is the hardest part about writing for you?
JLV:The hardest part of writing for me seems to be finding the time to do it. I am a wife, mom, and work a full time job outside of the home. The writing that started as a hobby has quickly consumed me. I carry notepads and also write on anything that resembles paper to help.
LP: Do you have a favorite writing food/snack?
JLV: Brace yourself for this shocking confession...coffee. I settle in at my writing desk with a fresh cup every night before I start writing. (This is exactly where Vivienne's caffeine affliction comes from.)
LP: What inspires you?
JLV: It's random things. Adverts on TV, some scents that elicit certain feelings, music of course is a biggie, and even some scenery.
LP: If you could switch places with anyone for a day who would it be? Why?
JLV: This is a difficult one. If I were to be asked this question again two weeks from now, I would probably give another answer. But, right now, in this moment, I'd have to go with the lead singer of Dead Sara, Emily Armstrong. I just saw her live a few weeks ago, and she is bad ass. She gets to travel all over, rocking out on stage in front of thousands. Sounds pretty awesome to me.
LP: Why did you write about characters that are not in their late teens/early 20's? Those seem to be the targeted age in a lot of books anymore.
JLV: I am 29 myself, so it is easy to relate to Vivienne. I also wanted a character that is seasoned, she's experienced what life has to offer.
LP: What is your biggest pet peeve?
JLV: Double negatives! It drives me nuts to hear "I never heard nobody talk like that."
LP: Tells about what is coming up next for you?
JLV: I'm currently working on book three in The Guild Series as well as a novella for the series. I am hoping that they both will be ready this year. There are a lot of big things coming for Vivienne Drake.
